The Brecon Beacons and Brecon itself [with it's annual jazz festival] are only a 40 minute scenic drive away. On the route to Brecon you pass through Hay-on-Wye, with it's famous second hand book shops and world renowned festival. The historic city of Hereford is the nearest [approximately 10 miles] main shopping centre, with 4 large super markets, 2 leisure centre's, pubs / clubs and much more besides. Communication is good, with a main line railway station, and coach / bus station. There is easy access to the M50 motorway, which in turn connects to the main motorway system
